Returns Policy
At SoFoam, you have 60 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To qualify, items must be in their original condition and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation) . A $99 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
Due to the nature of our products, they won’t fit back in their original packaging once they are unpacked. This is normal. If you don’t have suitable packaging for the items you purchased, our shipping partner will take care of the repackaging when collecting this item. However, this may incur additional fees.
Return processing typically takes 1–2 weeks, depending on your location and carrier scheduling.
To start a return, please contact us at info@sofoam-ny.com with your order number and a brief explanation of the reason. Our team is also available via email or live chat if you need assistance.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please check your order within 7 days of delivery.
If anything arrives damaged, defective, or not as expected, contact us as soon as possible at info@sofoam-ny.com, including photos or videos showing the issue. We’ll review the case and resolve it promptly.
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund with possible waiver for return shipping. Replacement shipments will require a signature upon delivery to ensure safe receipt.
Non-Returnable Items
We’re unable to accept returns in the following cases:
- Final sale items
- Gift cards
- Products not purchased directly from the SoFoam website
- Returns requested from a different address than the original delivery location
Additionally, we do not accept partial returns. For example, if you purchased a modular sofa set, it must be returned in its entirety as listed on your order. Individual components cannot be returned separately.
Exchanges
If you need a different product, we recommend submitting a return for your current order and placing a new order once your return request has been approved. This is the quickest way to ensure availability. You may also purchase individual sofa modules and ottomans from our site if you want to upgrade your existing items.
Final Sale Terms
Items marked as final sale are not eligible for return or warranty coverage.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus the $99 return shipping fee.
Please note that depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Warranty
Our Warranty Commitment

Our 3**-Year Limited Warranty** reflects our commitment to quality and to making sure you feel confident in your purchase.
What’s Covered
This warranty applies for three (3) years from the date of delivery and covers manufacturing-related issues, including:
- Structural defects in foam components, such as abnormal deformation or collapse under normal residential use
- Stitching defects, including seams that come apart or are improperly finished
- Faulty zippers or integrated closures resulting from manufacturing issues
What’s Not Covered
To keep expectations clear, the following situations are not covered under warranty:
Normal Wear and Tear
Natural changes from regular use over time, including:
- Minor fading or discoloration
- Softening or compression of foam with extended use
Improper Use or Handling
- Use of cleaning products or methods not suitable for the material
- Exposure to extreme heat, moisture, or prolonged direct sunlight
- Damage caused by accidents, impact, burns, or sharp objects
- Zipper defects caused by improper installation or using brute force.
Pet-Related Damage
- Scratching, chewing, or other damage caused by animals
Accidental Damage
- Spills, stains, punctures, or tears from everyday incidents
Unauthorized Modifications
- Repairs, alterations, or modifications not approved by SoFoam
Force Majeure
- Damage caused by events outside of control, such as fire, flooding, or natural disasters
Commercial Use
- Products used in commercial, rental, or hospitality settings are not covered under this warranty
How to Submit a Warranty Claim

- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the problem
- Any product tags or labels (if available)
Please note:
- Warranty coverage begins on the original delivery date
- Claims must be submitted by the original purchaser
Warranty Terms
- This warranty applies only to the original buyer and is non-transferable
- The warranty period does not reset or extend if a replacement is issued
- If the product is moved outside the original country of delivery, coverage may no longer apply
